As a kid my grandparents would always give us a disposable camera to document whatever vacation we were on, but other than that I didn’t really touch a camera until college.
After changing my major 3 times a good friend of mine talked me into assisting him with a student film project. It was all uphill from there. I changed to an Arts and Communication concentration and decided that I wanted to focus on photo and video work.
While finishing up my undergraduate I was fortunate enough to work with both Rick Derringer and the NCAA. After I got that expensive piece of paper, I assistant directed on a feature and then realized that I had far too much to learn before I was ready to-go-toe to toe with other people in my field. So, I dove headfirst into the world of filmmaking and photography. Since that first job, I’ve worked with Netflix, Discovery Channel, A&E, Rooster Teeth, MTV and many other notable clients/networks. But in my spare time I do like to grab a disposable camera and see what I can get out of a roll of film, so I guess it has all come full circle somehow.

Photographer, Graphic Artist, Web Designer.
I started dabbling in the digital media world in high school with our student publication. It was then I learned the basics of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) Yet when I went on to my undergrad, I felt burnt out with the concept, and didn't know how to connect my creative side to what I was passionate about. Four years later, right before I graduated I picked up a camera again and then everything changed.

Sometimes in life, you have to take a chance on yourself. For me, leaving my 9-5 gave me the opportunity to be creative again, let me think outside of the box. My portfolio is expanding, and I'm constantly looking for new projects to get my hands on. Willing to try anything at least once, I've worked from the horse industry to the arboricultural industry; photographed engagements and weddings, horse shows to drag shows, created ads, infographics, posters, cutouts for the University of Kentucky and national organizations like FFA. Needless to say, I have little to no limitations on what or who I will work for, and what I work on.
